Job Title: Licensed Clinical Therapist

Interfaith Community Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Clinical Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our mental health services team, you will provide professional mental health services, including case consultation, individual and group psychotherapy, evaluations, and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct intake assessments and prepare evaluations to determine the cause, nature, and severity of clients' mental status.
  • Develop, evaluate, and implement goal-oriented treatment plans to support clients' recovery and well-being.
  • Provide direct treatment services, including individual and group therapy, to a complex and challenging client population.
  • Intervene in crisis situations and provide rehabilitative and socialization services to restore and maintain clients' functional levels.
  • Consult with other staff members on clients' histories, mental status, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in staff reviews and recommend changes to therapeutic techniques, environments, and charting to facilitate client recovery.
  • Assist clients and their families in understanding their mental or emotional disorders and provide emotional support and information to identify external stressors.
  • Prepare case documentation, progress reports, and special reports.
  • Provide guidance to volunteers and staff and participate in mental health conferences and local area committees.
  • Provide clinical supervision and oversight to interns and associates and document their progress.
Requirements:
  • Must be currently licensed by the State of California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
  • Ability to supervise associates registered with the BBS preferred.
  • 3+ years of clinical experience working in a social services, counseling, or nonprofit setting required.
  • Experience working with severely mentally ill, medically fragile, and homeless populations preferred.
