Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Assembler to join our team at ResourceMFG, a leading manufacturer of packaging machinery. As an Equipment Assembler, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining custom food packaging machinery, working with a variety of tools and equipment to complete each job.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and install packaging equipment, including horizontal bagging, horizontal form-fill-seal wrapping, vertical form-fill-seal wrapping, and flow wrapping
  • Install mechanical components and sub-assemblies into machines
  • Check parts for proper manufacturing and read diagrams and written specifications for part installations
  • Mount auxiliary equipment to machines and position parts correctly
  • Use machinery to drill, tap, and ream holes, and align and connect parts using hand and power tools
  • Set up and operate machines for testing purposes and troubleshoot problems as they arise

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in maintaining and repairing packaging machinery in the food or pharmaceutical industry
  • Ability to read schematics and mechanical blueprints
  • Lift at least 40 pounds
  • Be a team player with a positive attitude and have the ability to multitask
