Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Liberty Healthcare. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing quality nursing care to our patients. Your expertise and compassion will help us deliver exceptional care, and we are excited about the opportunity to have you on board.


Responsibilities:



  • Assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall, in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act, and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Delegate duties to professional nurses and non-professional nursing personnel and monitor their work performance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Observe patients for symptoms and/or reactions, including general physical and/or mental condition, for signs that may be indicative of adverse change.
  • Assist with notifying the attending physician of emergencies and the death of patients in the unit. Implement changes in orders as instructed or ordered by physicians.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:



  • High school graduate.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing and submit proof of license renewal every other year.
  • Willing to work as a charge nurse and work as needed during emergencies to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients, follow doctors' orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • CPR certified yearly.
  • Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.
