About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Top Line Technician III to join our team at Sunstate Equipment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring our equipment is safe and ready for customer use. Your primary objective will be to perform regular preventative maintenance and major repairs on a wide range of construction equipment, including vehicles and machinery.
Key Responsibilities- Perform regular preventative maintenance and major repairs on construction equipment
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting on electrical, hydraulic, ignition, and pneumatic systems
- Work with diesel and gas engines, telehandlers, diaphragm pumps, and drivetrains
- Ensure high-quality control and attention to detail in all work
- Collaborate with the team to resolve problems and improve processes
- At least five to seven years of experience in heavy construction equipment diagnostics and repair
- Ability to read and understand electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment to perform repairs
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, telehandlers, and air brake systems
