Behavioral Technician Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Technician to join our team at Maxim Healthcare Services. As a Behavioral Technician, you will work one-on-one with children with Autism, helping them develop social skills, communication skills, and manage repetitive or restrictive behaviors.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts
  • Document child progress and milestones
  • Provide support and guidance to children in developing social skills and communication skills

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience working with children in a related capacity
