Job Description:This position involves working closely with the Executive Producer, Director, Assignment Desk, and Anchors to develop and implement news strategies and goals in daily newscasts.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine the content and flow of newscasts
- Work with management and on-air staff to generate and write stories
- Develop content for our website
- Multitask and manage time to create an exciting and informative newscast
The ideal candidate will possess solid news judgment, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to execute news strategies and goals in daily newscasts.
- At least some previous news producing experience at a commercial TV station (entry-level candidates may be considered)
- Journalism degree preferred
