Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced systems engineer to join our team at Dedrone. In this role, you will drive the development and success of our hardware products, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from initial concept to production introduction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from initial concept through to production introduction, ensuring all designs meet requirements for performance, reliability, and compliance.
  • Develop and implement system-level designs for fixed-site, portable, and mobile solutions, focusing on camera-based and radar-based drone detection.
  • Manage the validation and testing of new designs using industry-standard equipment and methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and manage the production documentation process meticulously.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including electrical and machine learning engineers, software developers, project management, product management, production, and quality departments to ensure cohesive and integrated product development.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on system-level integration.
  • A solid understanding of engineering principles, including mechanical designs, electrical engineering, and design for manufacturing.
  • Experience in designing and validating products for harsh environments.
  • Familiarity with camera technology and radar principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical challenges effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present complex ideas clearly.
