Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Resident Care Services Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of resident care services, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Screen and interview prospective Resident Care Aides, checking references and hiring according to all policies and procedures.">
  • Supervise all resident care aides and follow disciplinary policies and procedures.">
  • Use the company Time Management program to schedule proper coverage of the community, organizing and participating with on-call staff to ensure proper coverage.">
  • Coordinate TB skin testing and Hepatitis B vaccinations for all employees with the Administrator and maintain up-to-date records.">
  • Participate in Safety Committee meetings and other meetings as deemed appropriate.">
  • Implement and teach general orientation for all new employees.">
  • Work a scheduled shift if necessary.">
  • Perform projects and/or tasks as deemed appropriate by the Director of Resident Care Services or Administrator.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • To be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.">
  • To be an LPN with experience in geriatric resident care, healthcare policies, and procedures, with a focus on interpersonal relationship building and attention to detail.">
  • To have supervisory experience.">
  • To be willing to care for geriatric residents and have a genuine concern for their welfare.">
  • To be willing to receive, understand, and follow orders.">
  • To be able to work and cooperate well with other nursing staff, other departments, and families and visitors.">
  • To be kind and respectful to residents, staff, and visitors.">
  • To be able to use equipment without jeopardizing the safety of self, others, or equipment, and use supplies safely and economically.">
  • To wear approved uniform or approved dress code and nametag.">
  • To demonstrate neat appearance and good personal hygiene.">
  • To read, know, and follow personnel, department, and community policies and procedures.">
  • To attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required, as well as complete online training.">
  • To have computer skills and software program experience.">
  • To be able to use Workforce Management or other scheduling software.">

Estimated Salary

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
