LifeBridge Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Coach to join our Emergency Department team. As a Clinical Coach, you will play a critical role in the development and growth of our nursing staff, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement orientation programs for new nurses, ensuring a smooth transition into the ED environment.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to nursing staff, focusing on critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication.
- Collaborate with unit leadership to develop and implement strategies for improving patient care and staff development.
- Participate in performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff, helping them to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines, ensuring that nursing staff receives the most current and effective training.
- At least 3-5 years of recent RN experience in ED Nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from a CCNE-accredited school.
- Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) Registered Nursing license, or Compact State licensure.
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certification.
