Job Summary:

As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. You will be responsible for managing the flow of customers, ensuring seamless service, and providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Treat all guests with respect and professionalism, ensuring their complete satisfaction.
  • Accurately utilize the seating chart and know table numbers and sections to ensure proper seating rotation and communication between servers.
  • Graciously greet guests within 20 seconds of their arrival and escort them to a table, balancing the customer flow among service stations.
  • Provide menus and inform guests of their server's name, ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience.
  • Facilitate the general functioning of the dining room during meal service, relaying information to service personnel and making adjustments as needed.
  • Assist with tasks throughout the restaurant, such as takeout or dishwashing, as needed or requested by the Manager on Duty.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to Isaac's standards.
Requirements:
  • Some high school education or equivalent.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with others.
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems rapidly and fairly.
