Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine client needs and progress in the MAT program.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate medication-assisted therapies and behavioral health interventions.
  • Provide counseling and support to clients, focusing on building coping skills, enhancing motivation, and addressing underlying issues related to substance use.
  • Monitor client adherence to medication regimens and assess for any side effects or complications.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure integrated care and appropriate adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions, providing a supportive environment for shared experiences and recovery strategies.
  • Assist clients in accessing essential resources such as housing, employment, and social services to support their recovery journey.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in addiction treatment and medication-assisted therapy.
  • Promote a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed approach in all interactions with clients, fostering a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
Requirements
  • Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field.
  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • LCDC or LCDC-CI required. Must maintain licensure throughout employment.
  • 1-2 years direct client care in mental health and/or substance abuse services.
