Responsibilities:
As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will deliver clinical support and expertise to ensure our patients receive outstanding care.
Your role will involve engaging with patients to enhance their comfort and well-being, whether through routine tasks or more complex care needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with outgoing staff to receive updates on patient conditions at the start of your shift.
- Conducting regular patient rounds to monitor vital signs and assist with care as necessary.
- Supporting patients with mobility, including assistance to and from various locations within the facility.
- Addressing hygiene needs, which may involve providing assistance with bathing or supplying necessary items.
- Assisting nursing staff with medical procedures, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization within patient areas, including changing linens and documenting patient weights.
Dignity Health offers an Education Benefit program for eligible employees, providing financial support for educational advancement. Full-time employees can receive substantial funding over a designated period, while part-time employees also have access to significant benefits.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
Must possess an AZ CNA/LNA License or Basic EMT certification; a minimum of 6 months of relevant experience or completion of the first block of a nursing program is required.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is also necessary.
