Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow the commercial loan portfolio by providing expert guidance and support to business members
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business members and potential business members, analyzing their financial needs and providing tailored commercial lending solutions
  • Develop a high-quality loan portfolio according to credit union policies, and monitor portfolio performance, identify potential risks, and proactively address any concerns
  • Evaluate loan applications, financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information to assess creditworthiness and determine loan eligibility
  • Manage and collect assigned commercial loan portfolios and work with members having financial difficulty or problems making regular payments
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or similar field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years' business lending experience
  • Strong understanding of commercial lending principles, credit analysis, loan structuring, underwriting, and accounting concepts and how to apply them to financial statement analysis
  • Valid driver's license as some travel is required
  • Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office software, and various lending software packages
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in direct, professional contact with a wide variety of people
