Job Title: Transportation Project Engineer

Job Summary:

NV5 is seeking a skilled Transportation Project Engineer to join our team in the Puget Sound region. As a key member of our transportation design group, you will be responsible for leading roadway design and plans production, communicating effectively with team members and senior management, and mentoring junior transportation staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead roadway design and plans production within the transportation design group.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and senior management.
  • Mentor junior transportation staff.
  • Assist with marketing efforts for NV5 to DOTs and local municipalities to obtain new contracts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Washington PE license.
  • Minimum of 8+ years experience in transportation engineering design and plans production for municipal and private clients.
  • DOT design experience.
  • Knowledge of Bentley OpenRoads preferred.
