Position Overview:

This role involves examining the interplay between various IT elements and business operations to establish strategies that deliver substantial benefits to our clients by promoting effective security measures across these areas.


The selected candidate will collaborate closely with key client stakeholders and organizational leaders, necessitating excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with diverse levels of personnel.

Moreover, this individual will be tasked with formulating innovative enterprise security concepts that align with leading industry benchmarks, guiding our security services into the future.

Key Responsibilities:
• Cultivate robust client relationships and effectively influence personnel at all tiers of client organizations.

• Advise senior management on potential security vulnerabilities.

• Translate security vulnerabilities into business implications.

• Consult and facilitate the achievement of Information Security strategic objectives for clients.

• Assist in assessing overall risk for IT systems, considering the personnel, processes, and technologies that provide security measures.

• Design, prioritize, coordinate, and communicate the selection of security technologies essential for maintaining a secure yet user-friendly computing environment.

• Provide security architecture guidance in support of application development, infrastructure, and enterprise technology initiatives.

• Collaborate with various project teams to convey the importance of security requirements and design limitations.


• Identify deficiencies in existing application security frameworks to fulfill project needs, working with Client Management to outline and plan solutions.

• Conduct code evaluations, application security assessments, and develop a training program focused on application security.

• Stay informed about security technologies and recommend their application based on business value.

• Maintain expert knowledge in Information Security and associated issues, systems, processes, products, and services.

• Lead and participate in technology discussions with client engineering teams and management.

• Provide technical leadership to foster consensus among stakeholders regarding proposed designs.

• Review technology solution designs to support the business in achieving their cybersecurity goals.

• Ensure that solutions and new features are crafted and executed according to established design and cybersecurity standards and practices, facilitating acceptable compromises when necessary.

• Document technical specifications and designs for new solutions and features.

• Guide Developers in secure application design and methodologies.

• Research emerging technologies and best practices for implementing new solutions.

• Collaborate with various project teams to emphasize the necessity of security requirements and design constraints.

Desired Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in designing, developing, or customizing application authentication and authorization systems.

• Knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 application security threats and mitigation strategies.


• Familiarity with the Microsoft Security Development Lifecycle (SDL), OWASP Software Assurance Maturity Model (SAMM), or Building Security in Maturity Model (BSIMM).

• Experience with Security Lifecycle Development Assurance (SDLA).

• Strong understanding of enterprise software technologies, application security, and infrastructure.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud platform offerings and their security services.

• Practical experience with encryption, hashing, secure random number generation, key derivation, key management, digital signatures, etc., in one or more major programming languages.

• Review technology solution designs to assist the business in meeting their cybersecurity objectives. Ensure solutions and new features are designed and implemented according to established design and cybersecurity standards and practices, facilitating acceptable trade-offs when necessary.

• Translate security vulnerabilities into business implications.

• Interest in and ability to remain updated on security technologies and recommend their application based on business value.

• Fundamental understanding of web application security scanning tools and related penetration testing instruments.


• Significant experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or Application Architect, designing and developing solutions within enterprise software or product environments.

• General knowledge of core security networking concepts such as TLS, SSH, DNS, Firewalls, etc.

• Solid understanding of cloud architecture and on-premise IT environments.

• Exposure to security at the device level.

• Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related fields. Significant years of experience and active security-based certifications may substitute for a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in designing and implementing embedded system security and IoT connectivity for consumer products.

• Planning and executing connected device security and OTA firmware/software updates.

• Familiarity with IoT platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

• Relevant certifications are highly desirable (CISSP, CISSP - ISSAP, CEH, etc.) or to be obtained within a specified timeframe of employment.
