Job Title: Roofing and Waterproofing Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Roofing and Waterproofing Project Manager to oversee installations and repairs on various properties. This role requires a strong ability to manage projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and comply with all safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in project planning, including pre-construction activities and job estimating for roofing and waterproofing projects.
  • Prepare detailed reports for clients, contractors, and management on project cost and progress, highlighting any quality issues or operational problems.
  • Ensure quality control, verifying that all work meets project specifications, architectural drawings, and owner satisfaction.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope and implement measures for roofing and waterproofing elements.
  • Initiate planning and review processes for new projects, including scope of work, budgets, contracts, submittals, and NOCs.
  • Source and contract subcontractors or select a team of full-time professionals for roofing and waterproofing tasks.
  • Supervise onsite teams and inspect work quality to ensure compliance with project standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of roofing and waterproofing techniques and field management.
  • Proficiency in low slope roofing methods (TPO, BUR, Torch, PVC).
  • Excellent management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, roofing, and waterproofing safety protocols.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot roofing and waterproofing issues, including leaks.
  • Minimum of 3 years of residential or roofing and waterproofing experience.
  • Valid Florida License and clean driving record.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in project management and strong time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Completion of OSHA 30 course within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience.
