Job Title: Per Diem Medical Assistant

Mass General Brigham is seeking a per diem medical assistant to support our practice on-site, primarily picking up shifts on weekends as needed for coverage.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate medical assistant to join our team. As a per diem medical assistant, you will work alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, and nurses to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Function as a flow manager to ensure efficient patient flow through the office
  • Assist with direct patient care during office visits, including examination, procedures, and treatments as advised
  • Perform clinically appropriate administrative tasks, such as chart preparation, phone triage, and test result coordination
  • Maintain neat, clean, and safe patient care areas
  • Provide an exceptional care experience by interacting with patients and their families in a professional and friendly manner
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Graduate of a medical assistant training program, nursing student, or paramedic required
  • CPR training required
  • Experience working as a medical assistant preferred
  • Epic experience preferred
