Role Overview: Our Technology practice operates at the intersection of innovative campaigns for technologies that influence consumers and society. We are in search of a Senior Account Supervisor (SAS) who is passionate about crafting compelling narratives in this dynamic space. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the technology sector, adeptly engage various media audiences, and demonstrate a strong desire to lead integrated communications marketing campaigns that achieve recognition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operational and financial performance of account teams, ensuring timely and strategic handling of client requests.
- Develop and implement launch strategies for consumer technology products.
- Guide the creation of product messaging and executive communication for launches.
- Collaborate with colleagues across different specialties to successfully execute integrated projects.
- Conduct research on industry trends to proactively advise clients on messaging and engagement strategies.
- Exhibit advanced writing skills and supervise the writing efforts of junior team members.
- Mentor and lead junior staff, providing feedback and supporting their professional growth.
- Drive new business initiatives, including responses to RFPs and client acquisition efforts.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of experience in communications or public relations, ideally within an agency environment.
- At least one to two years of experience in corporate communications, particularly with technology clients.
- Established relationships with tech, business, and lifestyle media, with connections to tech influencers being a plus.
- Exceptional storytelling abilities and the capacity to provide strategic media counsel to clients at all levels.
- A strong background in developing product-focused launch strategies.
- Experience managing budgets and teams on significant accounts to meet client objectives.
- Proficient in writing strategic media plans and various media materials with minimal oversight.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Demonstrated account management and leadership skills.
- A keen interest in current events and popular culture.
- A collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is $79,000 - $115,000 annually, with factors such as education, experience, and performance influencing individual pay. Additional rewards may include annual bonuses and region-specific benefits.
