Captives Marketing Support Specialist

Position Overview:
This role serves as a dual support function, primarily reporting to the marketing director of the Captives division, while also encompassing select executive assistant duties as assigned by management.
Key Responsibilities:
The position demands exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities, alongside strong communication skills to effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
Daily tasks associated with the Captive Unit may include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the preparation and submission of timely and precise market proposals for both new and renewal captive business.
- Maintaining organized client submission records across various platforms, including office share drives and agency management systems.
- Acting as a liaison between account managers and the marketing director to ensure the collection of accurate data for supplemental applications.
- Engaging with carriers, underwriters, or potential business prospects to gather necessary information for informed marketing decisions.
- Analyzing contractual insurance obligations and client requirements in collaboration with the agency.
- Requesting loss runs and conducting claims analysis relevant to captive new and renewal processes.
- Assisting in the creation of annual loss summaries with updated loss runs for captive business.
- Participating in office and client meetings as required.
- Supporting additional marketing initiatives as directed.
Administrative Duties:
Responsibilities assigned by agency management may include:
- Coordinating and scheduling travel arrangements for the Agency Managing Director.
- Completing and maintaining business expense reports and supporting documentation.
- Executing other administrative tasks as requested.
Minimum Qualifications:
A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred. Candidates should possess 1 to 3 years of experience with a comprehensive understanding of property and casualty insurance. A valid state insurance license is necessary, along with strong verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with an agency management system, particularly Epic, is advantageous.
