Job Title: Customer Experience Coordinator

Weis Markets is seeking a Customer Experience Coordinator to join our team. As a Customer Experience Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive and efficient shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the flow of customers through the Front End, ensuring sufficient checkouts are open to properly and efficiently service customers.
  • Smile and greet customers, answer customer questions, and help resolve customer concerns in a polite and professional manner.
  • Enforce security and cash control procedures to identify and prevent losses.
  • Monitor the performance of cashiers and lot attendants, providing feedback to management.
  • Participate in training and retraining of front-end associates to ensure high levels of productivity, speed, accuracy, and courtesy to customers.
  • Operate front-end scanning equipment and register, performing all related check-out procedures.
  • Assist customer service with answering phone calls and using the intercom for necessary announcements or pages.
  • Maintain accuracy during transactions, ensuring customers are charged for all items and appropriate funds are collected.
  • Maintain proper security measures and cash drawer accounting procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, marketing promotions, and store layout to answer customer questions.
  • Responsible for general sanitation in the department, following cleaning schedules and department guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Education and/or experience completed or working towards a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • No prior experience required.
