We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Clinician to join our Cardiothoracic Surgery team at Jefferson Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients on our inpatient Cardiothoracic Surgery service.
Responsibilities- Perform complete history and physicals, and document in the medical record.
- Order and collect data using appropriate assessment techniques, relevant supporting diagnostic information, and diagnostic procedures where indicated.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to make diagnoses of acute and complex chronic conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care to address complex acute and chronic healthcare needs.
- Prescribe diagnostic strategies and therapeutic interventions.
- Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Master's Degree
- 3-5 years of Cardiothoracic Surgery experience
- At least 2 years of first assist experience
- National Board Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with RNFA or Physician Assistant
- BLS certification
