Job Overview
A challenging opportunity exists for a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Loves Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our diesel equipment fleet. With a focus on customer satisfaction and safety, you will troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical issues, provide preventative maintenance services, and interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
  • Assist customers with roadside services
  • Provide preventative maintenance services
  • Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner

Requirements:
  • Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters
  • Ability to work in various temperatures
  • Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)

Salary: $63,500 per year, based on industry standards and comparable job openings in the Amarillo, TX area.
