Job Summary

JobRialto is seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Labor and Delivery department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to expectant mothers and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and assess the condition of pregnant women during childbirth, ensuring the health and well-being of both mother and baby.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized birth plans, prioritizing patient-centered care.
  • Provide emotional support and education to mothers and families, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
  • Administer medications and pain relief as needed, adhering to hospital protocols and procedures for patient safety.
  • Document all aspects of labor and delivery, maintaining accurate and comprehensive medical records.
Requirements
  • 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided).
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field.
  • Five (5) plus years of recent experience (must have occurred within the last two (2) years) in Labor and Delivery.
  • One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years.
  • High Risk OB experience preferred.
