Job Summary

The Licensed Clinician plays a critical role in providing high-quality clinical services to clients in the Detox unit at Stonington Institute. This position requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure comprehensive care and effective discharge planning.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in substance abuse treatment.
Requirements
  • Independent license required (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, LADC, licensed psychologist).
  • Two years of experience in mental health counseling, preferably with a substance abuse population.
