Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to lead water/wastewater construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, effectively, and profitably.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project teams to achieve safety goals, including employee safety, subcontractors, suppliers, and other individuals authorized on-site.
  • Contribute to project planning, including self-performed work, such as earthwork, concrete, carpentry, metal work, mechanical, and electrical tasks.
  • C coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers, selecting construction practices and methods.
  • Prepare weekly look-ahead schedules, crew task lists, and labor tracking reports, as well as daily reports.
  • Manage Filanc's material organization and tracking system, receiving, inventorying, and on-site management.
  • Maintain equipment, both company-owned and rented.
  • E nsure field crews have correct work packages.
  • Order and rent construction materials and equipment.
  • Assist in creating and updating project schedules.
  • Deliver timely timecards and review purchase receipts.
  • Interpret, distribute, and manage weekly labor reports.
  • Implement the project Quality Management Plan.
  • Plan and staff field personnel.
  • Monitor work performance and productivity, maintaining project rules, procedures, and safety.
  • Foster daily communication with owners and representatives.
  • Advise project management on potential problems, work interferences, schedule difficulties, and assist in resolving these issues.
  • Support liaison with other departments to maintain construction schedules.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; experience may substitute for education.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant heavy civil construction experience; water/wastewater experience preferred; pipeline experience advantageous.
  • Ability to travel to different project sites as needed.
  • Knowledge of earthworking, concrete form systems, concrete placement, metals works, carpentry, and mechanical work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and internet usage.
  • Excellent communication, mathematical, and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
Estimated Salary Range:

$80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
