CATERING SUPERVISOR (FULL-TIME)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced CATERING SUPERVISOR to join our team.

Position Overview: This role is essential in coordinating the catering staff's schedules to ensure that all events are executed efficiently and effectively. The Catering Supervisor will prepare and serve food at various functions under the guidance of the Catering Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess workload requirements based on catering orders.
  • Engage with event leaders to finalize setup arrangements and address any last-minute changes.
  • Provide excellent customer service by interacting with clients and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of menu items and assist staff in meeting expectations for catered events.
  • Oversee the setup of event spaces to meet specific requirements.
  • Assemble and deliver food and supplies to designated locations.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests while ensuring a high standard of presentation.
  • Return unused food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility.
  • Maintain proper food presentation, portion control, and temperature standards in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of all catering equipment and supplies.
  • Follow approved recipes and production standards for food preparation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A valid driver's license may be necessary. Candidates must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit as required by state regulations.
