Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Catering Server to join our team at SoFi Stadium. As a Catering Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will work closely with our culinary team to ensure that every event is a success.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver food and beverages to catering clients in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Set tables to meet function specifications.
  • Deliver necessary equipment and beverages from storage areas to event locations.
  • Serve food, beverage, and accompaniments to catering clients in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Quietly remove china, glassware, and silverware from meal areas.
  • Deliver dirty china, silverware, and glassware to the appropriate kitchens dishwashing station.
  • Return equipment and unused beverages and dirty linen to appropriate storage locations in a neat and organized manner.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Polish equipment.
  • Organize catering storage areas.
  • Attend mandatory meetings.
  • Perform all assigned side work.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • At least two years of experience in the food and beverage industry as a server.
  • Knowledge of plate service and ability to carry three plates at once.
  • Maintain personal hygiene and well-groomed appearance standards.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting to set up and execute an event.
  • Willingness and drive to exceed guest expectations.
  • Ability to effectively listen and take direction from supervisor.
  • Excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
  • Knowledge of setting a table for a sit-down dinner with the appropriate serviceware and menu items.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write English language in order to communicate with management and guests.
  • Ability to remember and recite menu options.
  • Ability to transport up to 50 lbs. on a continuous basis.
  • Ability to remove plates away from guests quietly.
  • Ability to carry a tray of beverages long distances.
