Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular and preventative maintenance across all hotel and event center facilities.
  • Maintain an orderly and secure maintenance workshop, ensuring the safety of tools, supplies, and equipment.
  • Complete assigned work orders efficiently.
  • Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Implement a preventative maintenance program to keep facilities operational for guests, including systems like lighting, HVAC, and water treatment.
  • Foster teamwork and quality service through effective communication with other departments.
  • Stay updated on maintenance needs and ensure timely responses to requests.
  • Support departmental maintenance initiatives and follow daily, weekly, and monthly checklists.
  • Assist management with inventory assessments of supplies and equipment.
  • Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the pool area, including water quality management.
  • Identify and address safety concerns as they arise.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Physical Demands:

The physical requirements outlined below are essential for the successful performance of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours consecutively.
  • Capable of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling as necessary.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling tools and equipment.
  • Close vision is required for detailed tasks.
  • Effective communication skills, including speaking and hearing.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in the operation of basic hand and power tools.
  • Experience in hotel or commercial maintenance is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, flooring, and carpentry is beneficial.
  • Ability to provide exceptional guest service.
