Tier 1 Help Desk Technician

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Tier 1 Help Desk Technician to join our team at SteerBridge Strategies. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our clients, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, chat, and other communication channels.
  • Log, categorize, prioritize, and resolve incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or other resolver groups as needed.
  • Communicate status updates to end-users and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, service requests, and resolutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 1+ year of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system.
  • Previous experience working on civilian federal government agency contracts.
