We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Medical Service Line team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide advanced care, consultation, research, management, and education in a specific clinical area.
Responsibilities- Provide advanced direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
- Serve as an expert consultant for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.
- Contribute to defining, directing, and evaluating the nursing care and functions of clinical staff.
- Manage clinical research projects in support of evidence-based practice and disseminate findings.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate educational plans/programs and utilize methods, measurements, and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.
- May assess the learning needs of patients and families and develop and/or implement teaching programs.
- Clinical Nurse Specialist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required and Master's degree required.
