Product Development Lead

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Thermal Systems Engineer to join our team at Thermavant Technologies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in designing and developing components using SolidWorks and other CAD software.
About the Role
This is a full-time position that involves working closely with customers and project leads to understand product requirements and develop innovative solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing components based on product and customer requirements, creating solid models, parts, assembly, and inspection drawings, as well as product travelers.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with customers and project leads to fully understand product requirements and develop cost-effective and innovative solutions.
- Design and develop components based on product and customer requirements.
- Create solid models, parts, assembly, and inspection drawings, as well as product travelers.
- Ensure compliance with company standards.
- Material procurement as required; place purchase orders, manufacturing work orders, and work with vendors to manage delivery schedules.
- Develop laboratory test plans to ensure compliance with customers' key product characteristics.
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Prior experience creating 3D models and drawings with SolidWorks or other CAD software.
- Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
