Sourcing Manager Job Description

The Sourcing Manager will be an integral member of the global support team at Newmark Ltd, leading sourcing for the North America project management office team. This role will interact with project management, procurement, and corporate teams to develop sourcing strategies that support achieving department goals and align with the business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate, execute, and implement work processes in accordance with commercial area and/or geography strategies.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure strategic sourcing alignment.
  • Produce and execute RFP templates and process, bid analysis, solution selection, and negotiations to achieve desired results.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for the Program Management Office Team in alignment with business stakeholders.
  • Utilize business acumen and best practices to drive value from the market and influence stakeholders.
  • Lead the workgroup to elevate performance.
  • Identify and drive cost savings opportunities, process improvements, and risk mitigation initiatives for the department and region.
  • Ensure compliance to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sourcing activities.
  • Participate in approved or sponsored procurement organizations or related initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in business, purchasing, supply chain is preferred.
  • 5+ years, or equivalent experience, in purchasing and/or logistics function. Preference for experience in commercial project management or construction.
  • Demonstrated experience in price, terms, and delivery negotiations, quality assurance, and procurement management.
  • Experience in setting and achieving sourcing strategy with supplier management best practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication required to liaise with multiple departments and vendors.
  • Solid foundation of business intelligence and best financial practices.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Natural problem solver with a bias towards action.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with a team in a fast-paced environment, coordinating logistics, and/or balancing multiple projects and timelines.
Compensation:

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $95,000 to $120,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives.
