We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Engineering Lead to join our team at BAE Systems USA. As a key member of our Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in the development and delivery of advanced electronic warfare capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with the Product Area Director and staff to develop and deliver products and systems that meet customer needs
- Collaborate across functions to support engineering across the portfolio
- Identify and develop critical skills and employees
- Provide engineering leadership for the product line during all lifecycle phases
- Monitor project plans and execution to ensure technical and work scope requirements, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained
- Improve the work environment by promoting teamwork, wellness, workplace flexibility, and inclusive behaviors
- Active Secret Security clearance and ability to obtain Special Access clearances, and Top Secret Level Clearance
- Bachelor's degree and Minimum 12 years of technical leadership experience and mission/domain knowledge of emerging RF capabilities relevant to the business
- Prior experience leading production programs with transition to production knowledge
- Prior experience transitioning technology into EMD and production phases
- Aptitude for Agile Methodologies and Lean Product Development
