Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. As an LPN in our Cancer Center Clinic, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the modification of the plan of care by collaborating with other members of the multidisciplinary team, considering the developmental needs of the patient.
  • Participate in the evaluation of the patient's response to interventions based on predicted outcomes.
  • Reassess the patient as defined in the Nursing Standards of Care Policy and modify the plan of care as needed.
  • Contribute to the assessment of the patient by conducting focused assessments.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • The LPN practices under the direction or supervision of the professional registered nurse.
  • The LPN implements nursing care for assigned patients and assists the RN in the assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of nursing care.
  • This includes demonstrating competency in strong basic patient care skills, clerical/courier duties, stocking, transporting, specific patient care duties, and other departmental duties as requested.
  • Actively demonstrates a passion for patient care while demonstrating service recovery if needed and displays service excellence at all times.
  • Follows standard of care as defined within scope of Licensed Practical Nurse and reflects the American Nurses Association's Code of Ethics for Nurses and the Nurse Practice Act of Oklahoma.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
  • Current LPN license in Oklahoma.
  • Current BLS required.
  • Experience in oncology preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required.
