Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team in Bethesda, MD. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment in Central Mechanical Plant and Intelligence Community College buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the maintenance of site equipment and building structure.
  • Collaborate with General Maintenance Workers to maintain and repair building air systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair all equipment on site.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment on site.
  • Identify and report any deficiencies found during the course of performing the job.
  • Supervise General Maintenance Workers and monitor subcontractors.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • Must possess and maintain a Plumber License.
  • Three or more years of experience in maintenance and repairs on Commercial-Industrial building equipment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to read and understand Blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
  • Practical knowledge of plumbing equipment and tools.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an ISSA TS with SCI eligibility and poly.
Physical Demands
  • Heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 50 lbs. / push up to 100 lbs).
  • Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking.
  • Push/pull or move/lift equipment, supplies, and parts.
  • Manual dexterity and mobility.
  • Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
