- Coordinate patient flow from registration through discharge processing
- Handle Surgery Scheduling tasks and prior authorizations
- Support different teams and practices during staff absences
Requirements
- Ability to be highly flexible and travel to multiple work sites
- Knowledge of major medical insurance plans and types of coverage provided
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Skill in using a PC with associated programs, including Word, Excel, and Email
- Skill in setting priorities and establishing productive working relationships
