Role Summary:
HCA West Florida Division is seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join our esteemed practice in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Job Highlights
The Physician will operate within a healthcare team that may encompass Family Practice and/or Internal Medicine Physicians, RN Case Managers, Nurse Practitioners, and additional clinic personnel.
This collaborative approach aims to deliver a thorough and coordinated care model primarily for a Medicare-aged demographic.
The Physician will focus on managing the Geriatric population, working alongside the Primary Care Physician and/or Hospitalist as necessary.
Responsibilities may include patient care in both Outpatient and Inpatient environments based on the needs of the practice.
The Physician acts as an extension of the Primary Care Physician, providing comprehensive chronic and acute care to our patient base.
Qualifications
Medical Degree from an accredited institution and an active Florida medical license.
Board Certification as mandated by the practice environment.
Current DEA registration.
A minimum of 2 years of experience or completion of an internship.
BLS and ACLS certifications as required for the hospital setting.
