Upson Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in performing clinical laboratory analysis on patient specimens and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical laboratory analysis on patient specimens, including blood draws and quality control procedures.
- Operate and maintain complex laboratory equipment, including automated analyzers and microscopes.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with new technologies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Science, Clinical Lab Science, or related field.
- Certification as MLT or MT through an accredited agency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
