Job Summary

This role involves performing data analysis and profiling to provide direction, standards, and implementation of data management solutions associated with data ingestion, transformation, integration, and analytics. The successful candidate will engage in full-stack Microsoft BI development activities to deploy usable and measurable projects meeting business needs leveraging tools such as SSIS, SSAS, stored procedures, and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve deadlocks issues with databases/servers in real-time.
  • Formulate procedures for data extraction, transformation, and integration.
  • Create SSIS packages for data transition of care.
  • Pull data from Excel and create configuration and inventory SAS reports.
  • Develop and maintain a library of 50+ SAS macros.
  • Create complex SAS macros for data validation and reporting.
  • Design Microsoft Power BI dashboards and manage Power BI gateways.
  • Create scripts using DAX functions in Power BI Desktop.
  • Develop measures using DAX language.
  • Develop dashboards, analytical reports, and KPIs based on business requirements.
  • Automate and schedule SAS scripts in MobaXterm.
  • Create complex stored procedures, triggers, functions, indexes, tables, views, and other T-SQL code.
  • Perform efficient tuning of SQL source queries.
  • Create stored procedures to transform data.
  • Document all work and process of integration and reporting services.
  • Create views to display required information and triggers to validate data entry.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum seven years' experience in a multi-disciplined IT environment with expertise in data analysis, data modeling, data governance, and enterprise architecture.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in data profiling and performance tuning databases and data marts with Oracle and/or SQL Server.
  • Experience with performance improvement using Azure and/or on-premise Microsoft technologies.
  • Experience taking a lead role in architecting, designing, and developing solutions exceeding business expectations.
  • Knowledge of interpreting business processes and requirements and translating them into logical and physical data models.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with experience in interacting with business and technical teams.
Work Schedule
  • Hybrid - 3 days onsite (Tues-Thurs), 2 days remote (Mon/Fri)
