Inside Sales Representative

American Metals Supply, LLC is a rapidly expanding metals distributor headquartered in Tampa, FL, serving the southeastern United States. Our sales and distribution centers are strategically located in Tampa, FL, Charlotte, NC, Jacksonville, FL, Loxley, AL, and Tomball, TX. Founded by a team of seasoned professionals with extensive experience in the aluminum market, we are committed to delivering exceptional products and services to our customers. Our mission is to supply quality aluminum products with the best service, at the right value to our customers while providing a safe, rewarding workplace to all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls from customers, addressing inquiries, providing information, and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Accurately process customer orders, ensuring all details are correctly entered into the system and confirming order status with customers.
  • Conduct outbound calls to existing and potential customers to follow up on orders, provide updates, and offer additional products or services.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs, providing solutions, and maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and issues, escalating complex cases to the appropriate individuals as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products and services to effectively assist customers and support sales efforts.
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions, orders, and transactions in the CRM system.

Requirements:

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be personable and accurate with numbers.
  • Industrial metal knowledge a plus, but not required.
  • Previous inside sales experience.
  • Have ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions.
  • Must pass background check and drug screening.
