Position Overview:

Job Title: Foreman

Compensation: Competitive, based on industry experience

Work Schedule: Generally Monday to Friday, with additional hours as required, including nights and weekends.

Role Summary:

The Foreman will oversee and coordinate the construction operations of craft and labor teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate construction activities effectively.
  • Guide field and subcontractor personnel to achieve production and scheduling objectives.
  • Organize personnel assignments on-site.
  • Assist in procurement of materials, ensuring proper receipt and inspection upon delivery.
  • Conduct inspections of construction work as necessary.
  • Promote and enforce safety protocols throughout the construction process.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and requirements.
  • Maintain an orderly and clean job site, ensuring tools and materials are accounted for.
  • Verify that construction elements are built according to specified drawings and standards.
  • Monitor and report the working hours of craft and labor crews under supervision.
  • Conduct safety training sessions for the crew and participate in required training programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in similar heavy civil construction projects.
  • Experience with large-scale highway, bridge/structures, paving, and/or utility relocation projects as a contractor.
  • Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills.
