Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting residents in various healthcare settings
  • Supporting residents with mobility, personal hygiene, feeding, and other daily living activities
  • Monitoring residents throughout shifts and communicating any concerns to the nursing team
  • Taking vital signs and reporting any irregularities to supervising staff
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in resident areas
  • Assisting residents with mobility between wheelchairs, beds, and examination tables
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to residents and their families
  • Effectively communicating with visitors, family members, and healthcare staff
  • Adhering to resident care plans and responsibilities
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current certification as a Patient Care Assistant
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and basic nursing procedures
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with residents and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
