Key Responsibilities- Assisting residents in various healthcare settings
- Supporting residents with mobility, personal hygiene, feeding, and other daily living activities
- Monitoring residents throughout shifts and communicating any concerns to the nursing team
- Taking vital signs and reporting any irregularities to supervising staff
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in resident areas
- Assisting residents with mobility between wheelchairs, beds, and examination tables
- Providing companionship and emotional support to residents and their families
- Effectively communicating with visitors, family members, and healthcare staff
- Adhering to resident care plans and responsibilities
- Current certification as a Patient Care Assistant
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic nursing procedures
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with residents and healthcare professionals
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
