Overview:
We are assisting a client in the North Dallas area in their search for a Financial Controller. This role will commence with comprehensive in-person training before transitioning to a hybrid work model. The Financial Controller will report directly to the VP of Accounting & Finance and will oversee a team of two direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate contracts, reconcile financial accounts, and ensure precision in billing processes.
  • Oversee month-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance assessments.
  • Supervise client invoicing and contribute to financial forecasting and budgeting efforts.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and promote efficiencies within the accounting function.
  • Lead payroll operations, manage HR functions, and provide financial insights to corporate strategies.
  • Conduct special analysis and projects to resolve ongoing challenges.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and operational roles.
  • Experience in a supervisory capacity is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of month-end closing procedures and operational accounting.
  • Proficient in Excel; familiarity with Coach Manager software is advantageous.
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving and process-driven skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and work collaboratively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, initiative, and analytical capabilities.
