Position Summary:

The role involves defining, designing, and executing robotic path programming and paint application techniques.

Key Responsibilities:


• Enhance the design and operational control of the paint department.


• Upgrade equipment and control panels.


• Integrate conveyor systems with robotic painting solutions.


• Improve data acquisition systems for production analytics.


• Modify safety devices and logic for enhanced safety protocols.


• Upgrade networking and communication systems for increased reliability.


• Optimize Allen Bradley PLC logic to boost uptime and throughput.


• Specify, design, implement, and monitor enhancements in robotic path programming and optimization of the applicator and fluid delivery systems.


• Manage equipment specifications and procurement, serving as a liaison among builders, clients, and production teams.


• Coordinate trial runs and quality enhancement initiatives for the painting process.


• Implement cost-saving measures for both new and existing processes and equipment.


• Provide technical support across all production and engineering functions for improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.


• At least five years of experience in controls engineering.


• Proficient understanding of paint department operations and principles.


• Familiarity with production control and scheduling systems.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


• Experience with statistical analysis techniques.


• Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Access.


• Experience with Fanuc P-250 is essential.


• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Knowledge of ISO14001 and TS16949 standards.


• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.


• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.


• In-depth knowledge of PLC programming and networking.


• Comprehensive understanding of the paint application process.


• Basic knowledge of machining, tooling, and electrical schematics.
