Mixologist

Position Summary:

The Bartender is responsible for welcoming patrons, understanding their preferences, responding to inquiries, suggesting menu items, and preparing and serving drinks and food. This role also involves upselling products, crafting unique recipes, utilizing appropriate equipment, and performing basic cleaning tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Crafts and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while attending to tables as required.
• Engages with customers, takes orders, and provides snacks and drinks.
• Evaluates customer needs and preferences to offer tailored recommendations.
• Mixes ingredients to create cocktails.
• Designs and showcases the bar menu.
• Verifies customer identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age.
• Restocks and maintains bar inventory and supplies.
• Maintains a guest-focused approach to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
• Ensures the bar area is organized, well-stocked, and clean.
• Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.

Qualifications:

• Adheres to all state food and beverage regulations (alcohol training and current certification required).
• Demonstrated experience as a bartender.
• Strong knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and serving techniques.
• Proficient in computer usage.
• Fluency in an additional language is advantageous.
• Possesses a positive demeanor and excellent communication skills.
