Role Summary:

The Mixologist is responsible for welcoming patrons, understanding their preferences, responding to inquiries, suggesting menu items, and crafting and serving a variety of beverages and food. The role also involves promoting additional items, developing unique recipes, utilizing appropriate equipment, and performing basic cleaning tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Crafts alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and serves them to tables as required.
• Engages with customers, takes orders, and provides snacks and drinks.
• Evaluates customer needs and preferences to make tailored recommendations.
• Mixes ingredients to create cocktails.
• Designs and presents the bar menu.
• Verifies customer identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age.
• Restocks and replenishes bar supplies and inventory.
• Maintains a guest-focused approach to ensure an exceptional experience.
• Ensures the bar area is organized, stocked, and clean.
• Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.

Qualifications:

• Adheres to all state food and beverage regulations (alcohol training and current certification required).
• Demonstrated experience as a bartender.
• Strong knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and serving techniques.
• Proficient in computer usage.
• Fluency in an additional language is advantageous.
• Exhibits a positive demeanor and excellent communication skills.
