Job Summary

Mills Construction Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager/Estimator to lead project teams from pre-construction through to closeout on vertical building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Analysis: Analyze project documents, blueprints, and plans to understand the project fully.
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare material and labor cost estimates and perform accurate take-offs.
  • Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Cost Control: Managing cost/change control, including change order review, negotiation, and recommendations, delay analysis and ensure tracking of all key project documents.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with Superintendents on schedules, labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
  • Project Scheduling: Maintain weekly schedules to ensure budget management and tracking.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management.
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience as a vertical building Construction Project Manager/Estimator.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project, and relevant Estimating/Project Management software.
  • Communication: Ability to interact with Owners, Architects, Engineers and other subconsultants.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead project progress meetings and project teams.
  • Organizational: Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to multitask, work independently, and lead with confidence.
