The Clinical Director oversees operations and administration at one of our rehabilitative outpatient clinics, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations while managing patient care.
This role involves evaluating patient needs, training clinical staff, and addressing performance challenges to meet clinic goals. The position requires leadership skills, a relevant degree, and extensive experience in clinical supervision within the therapy sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Meet census goals for the clinic and each clinician.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
- Maintain facility upkeep.
- Review and approve timecards through ADP.
- Interview, hire, and train clinical and administrative staff.
- Evaluate staff performance and resolve any issues that arise.
- Monitor staff compliance with policies and procedures.
- Follow up with patients who have low net promoter scores.
- Manage monthly budgets for visits, labor, and supplies.
- Monitor documentation audits and Medicare compliance.
- Perform weekly reviews of WebPT schedules.
- Manage expenses for staff in the clinic.
- Oversee physician referral management.
- Manage clinical support staff, scheduling, interviewing, hiring/termination.
- Ensure adherence to discharge policies.
- Order monthly clinical supplies.
- Adhere to lost patient log workflow.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree required; Doctorate preferred.
- Professional license/certification required.
- Valid CPR license.
- Minimum three years' clinical outpatient experience and two years' clinical supervision or program development experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Prompt EMR system.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
