This role is essential in ensuring the seamless availability of critical medical equipment through effective procurement and strategic planning. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance supply chain processes for efficiency
  • Oversee the planning and procurement of finished goods and production materials based on sales forecasts and established safety stock levels
  • Establish and monitor safety stock thresholds
  • Generate and manage manufacturing orders
  • Coordinate material authorizations in line with production schedules and sales projections
  • Implement strategies to ensure a consistent supply of necessary components and services
  • Assess supply chain risks and devise appropriate mitigation strategies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field with a focus on supply chain management, or a high school diploma with extensive experience in supply chain operations
  • Comprehensive understanding of supply chain dynamics, purchasing, and planning
  • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to present production schedules effectively
  • Strong capability to identify and manage risks within the supply chain
  • Exceptional communication skills for both internal and external interactions
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Experience in the medical device sector and knowledge of quality/regulatory compliance is advantageous
