We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor to join our team at the County of Alameda. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Care Services team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of behavioral health clinicians and providing day-to-day guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor a team of behavioral health clinicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide effective services to clients.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and support to the team, including coordinating staff coverage, performance evaluations, and training.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Conduct regular quality assurance reviews to ensure services are meeting established standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, counseling, nursing, or a related field.
- A valid clinical license from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, California Board of Psychology, or California Board of Nursing.
- At least one year of experience in a supervisory role in behavioral health, preferably in a public health setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
